Digg and Google : Best Blogger Templates

How to Use Digg :

  • Using Digg is a little bit tricky but easy to handle. According to my experience the most important thing is unique content. Because the more unique is the content, more your Posts are Digg by readers. Though I never get a chance that my posts are get Digg for more than 50 times…That’s why I am writing this post my own so you Digg it :-) and I hope u ll like it .
  • As there is no option of Tags, like in Delicious .So use your keywords with the Title of your post while submitting in Digg. (e.g) keyword = best blogger templates

  • You can use your keywords in short summary of the post while Digging.
  • Most important step is category where you are going to post your summary. Select the right category.(e.g) Software ,business etc.
  • Using these steps u can easily get 200 visitors per day.

How Digg Promotes your website:

  • When posts are Digg more than 100 times Digg gives it a very good rank in google listing.. Try to get more clicks on “Digg it” Button.
  • I experienced one more thing with Digg.. Google only shows 2 to 3 links of your website associated with Digg.
  • If you have posted more than 100 posts in Digg , Digg may show the backlinks in google in just 4 hours. :-)
  • These results might stay in google on the same position till 2 to 3 days and when you don’t work again results are removed from google’s lists.
  • But don’t worry when you work a little but more after 3 days and post some more posts in Digg with the same keyword, your results are back in google :-)
  • Sometimes Google doesn’t show your Digg results in google..it is because your Direct site link is coming somewhere on the same page. So its better if google gives a preference to your website link that is not associated with any other website.
  • Use my Tips and Digg this Post if you like it:-)
Please keep it in mind I don’t know what’s behind Google and Digg. I don’t know the algorithms its just my personal experiences.

The Trip Navigator 1.5 template by ThemZa is especially designed to give your travel agency website, hotel or flight booking portal or personal holiday trip diary blog a fresh, adventurous look.
Suitable for use during all four seasons of the year, Trip Navigator features an attractive recreational landscape banner image in the header area capturing idyllic green grass golf course, snow-capped mountain and golden sand coastal escape scenes, and supports a 4-column layout scheme, which includes a two-column central area surrounded by two sidebars on the left and on the right.

Foliage for Blogger

Foliage for Blogger is a one column template with AJAX top menu and smooth scrolling functions. This template is modified from its award winning WordPress version called Foliage (v1.02), which designed by Derek Punsalan. WordPress version of this beautiful theme can be found at authors blog. You can also get the theme PSD graphics from his blog, and fully customize the template through your needs. Check out live demo of this template to see it fully functional.
Main features:

* One column layout
* AJAX top menu (1)
* AJAX smooth scrolling for internal links (1)
* Integrated Google Sitesearch (2)

This is a free template released under GPL license. This means that you can use this template for your personal or commercial blog, edit it according to your needs, and even re-distribute it as long as you keep the license and the credit links at the footer intact.

Please read and understand the notes at the end of this page for detailed descriptions of the features of this template before you download and start using it.
Installation:

1. Download the theme archive package.
2. Unzip the package and go to images folder. Upload all of the images to a free image host (such as   imageshack.us), and write down the given links. (Help?)
3. Open theme.txt with a text editor (like notepad), then search for "Theme Images" (without quotes).
4. Replace the image file names with links you have taken from your image host, and then save.
5. Select all text from theme.txt by pressing CTRL+A, then copy by pressing CTRL+C.
6. Go to "Blogger dashboard > Template", and after deleting the old codes, paste your theme code by pressing CTRL+V, then save and republish your blog. (Help?)

Notes:

(0) I advise you to disable float alignment (under "Blogger Dashboard > Settings > Formatting > Enable float alignment > No") and not to use image positioning options while uploading images, otherwise layout problems may occur. Use class="left", class="right" or class="center" instead for positioning images with float alignment.
(1) AJAX library used for the top menu and smooth scrolling effect is compressed version of jQuery, and the interface elements created for jquery by Eyecon. Although these are very lightweight libraries available for creating effects like this templates has, these scripts can adversely effect your page loading times.
(2) Its a free tool offered by Google, and its nothing to do with AdSense for Search. It can only produce results for the pages indexed by Google, and may not work if your blog havent got any.
(3) This template has been tested with Internet Explorer 6, Opera 9, Safari 1.3, Firefox 1.5.x (both Windows and Linux versions) and Konqueror 3.5. Although layout seems okay with all of these browsers, AJAX top menu of the template is not working with Konqueror and Safari. I suggest you to use Firefox for best performance. If you haven't downloaded yet, why don't you for safer and faster internet experience?
